It’s a specialized training and certification designed to help restaurants create a welcoming, supportive environment for guests living with dementia. The training covers best practices in communication, service, and environmental adjustments to enhance the dining experience.
2. Why Should Our Restaurant Participate?
Inclusive Service: Show your commitment to providing excellent hospitality for all customers, including those with dementia.
Community Recognition: Stand out as a socially responsible business; once certified, you’ll receive a window cling and be listed on our website.
Staff Development: Equip your team with effective communication techniques and empathy skills that benefit every diner, not just those with dementia.
3. What Does the Training Involve?
Self-Paced Modules: Complete at your staff’s convenience on any device—computer, tablet, or smartphone.
